11.45 am: No picturesque photo of snowy historical Leiden today. Instead this picture of the Herenstraat looking like a deprived area due to the dirty snow. This usually happens whenever it snows in my country. Thaw sets in within 24 hours and you're forced to wade through slush for a day.
