Single Bluebell by hamble

Single Bluebell

Most of the bluebells I've been enjoying are past their best now, but there are still patches in sheltered, moist areas, such as here, by Otterhead Lakes, the source of the River Otter, where they're still looking lovely.
Very pretty. It's sad how uninteresting the woods look for a while when the bluebells die off and the leaves look so untidy.

Lovely! I like the backdrop to the flower as well as the flower itself.

I love bluebells, don't see them here. They bring back memories of walks with my mother and her naming the different wildflowers, trees and plants.
