What Winston saw?

A view of Studland Bay from inside Fort Henry - a World War 2 Observation bunker built as part of the shore defences against possible invasion. Six weeks before D-Day, Winston Churchill, King George VI, Supreme Allied commander Dwight D. Eisenhower, Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery and Acting Admiral Louis Mountbatten came to this bunker to witness the view and more importantly the largest live ammunition practice of the entire war - a practice for the Normandy landings in June 1944
