Frederick Douglass by happman

Frederick Douglass

This mural of Frederick Douglass was painted on a Purdue building in Salisbury, MD. He was an outspoken abolitionist, was born into slavery in 1818, and, after his escape in 1838, repeatedly risked his own freedom as an antislavery lecturer, writer, and publisher. -
A man of courage and dignity. A beautiful mural
