The cheese counter . by happypat

The cheese counter .

First I must apologise for the lack of comments over the last few days, I have hardly looked at the computer & have really neglected everyone !! From tomorrow onwards I will be back to normal but we have been busy with friends staying & B&B ...out again tonight which is lovely but am getting to old to be gadding every night !!!
This is just a quick photo of Booths cheese counter with Jack our grandson serving on his Saturday job. His parents are in Scotland for a few days so I picked him up from home & took him to work.
I am really just filling the 365 slot here at the moment & looking forward to doing something a bit more challenging next week !
Just noticed poor Jack has some Halloween decoration hanging in front of his face !!!
This is a funny pic - great capture. Sounds like you've been having some fun. Good to get breaks from computer.

I like visiting the shops with you, Pat! It means I can go shopping from my armchair. Cheese seems to be a recurring theme for you!

@jmj Yes I do seem to be a bit cheesy at the moment !!!!! Must be because lots of cheese makers round here !! I seem to spend all my time in the shops, am really ready to slow down & be able to take walks in the countryside again soon although have really enjoyed our social life lately !!

Oh dear - you'll set me off again - I wish Cambridge had Booths!! Jack is looking very pro! What about the tripe stall at Preston market - do you think it would frighten everybody?!!

oh I could lose myself in this section of the shop Pat - what an enormous range of cheeses to "chooses" from. Wow. Don't worry about missing out on commenting - we all get like that now and again. Enjoy your socialising - it's wonderful catching up with friends.

Rob
Great shot. What shop is it, Waitrose?
October 29th, 2011
@decani Like Waitrose Rob but a chain of 28 shops all in the North West of England privately owned by one family who live locally.

Pat, I was going to say Booths looks a tad waitrose like in style.......but looks like this has been covered in the comments already :)

Don't worry, Pat - we all get caught up with life and sometimes it is just too stressful and hard to do a big catch-up. Nice shot of everyday life.

Cheese is my downfall, hope your grandson enjoys his job. I have been a bit slack lately too sometimes other things take priority.
