Pushing up daises. by happypat

Pushing up daises.

Just these little daises in the grass this morning, the last signs of the summer that never was!

A lovely sunny morning as I went for the bread in the village so I took quite a few photos for fillers in the future!

Three good things:
1. Flu jabs...Harry has had his but I have not had mine....shall I or not, that is the question?
2. A bag of chocolate raisins to eat watching Strictly Come Dancing tonight.
3. The cat has been wormed!
Well 3 is a big relief!! Get down and get that flu jab!! Beautiful DOF in your pic.

Lovely photo, the flowers look so bright and cheerful against the dried brown leaves. This photo really tells the story of the changing of the seasons.

A lovely composition. Reminder of what summer should have been and the brown leaf to remind us of what's to come.

@ruthmouch I think I agree with you re the flu jab, I have never bothered up to now & am generally against taking anything unnecessarily. Harry always has one but I have resisted up to now Ruth.

@phil_howcroft A plastic bag works wonders!

@fannyb The cat was terrible at taking her tablet, she struggled & scratched & actually weed down Harry's leg LOL ! She was quite upset poor thing. She normally takes it quite well if your'e quick but the tablet was bigger this time for some reason.

Sweet shot of these brave little hangers-on!
I say "yes" get the flu shot, Pat. Why take a chance on dealing with the flu if a little jab can prevent it! :)
