Harry & I have been a walk with our daughter & family this afternoon & then back to their house for a lovely roast dinner.
i took this photo crossing the main north west railway line from Euston to Glasgow.
The light for crossing was on green!!!!!
Three good things:
1. A walk this afternoon & my knees were fine!
2. A meal I hadn't cooked !!
3. I am reading a rather interesting book called Follow the Money: A Month in the Life of a Ten-Dollar Bill by Steve Boggan.
@busylady@jgpittenger@phil_howcroft I think I must have had a mad moment when I look at this now...the main northern rail line & there was i bent over with my camera on the track........I did have look outs though!!!!
A great shot. My husband, who is a great train enthusiast, agreed. I like how you have processed the shot.
We also had a lovely Sunday lunch at our daughters house. So good not to have to cook it.
Oooh you are brave!!! I don't trust railway crossings - even in the car. And to think we used to play on them when I was about 4 and somebody would shout 'train' and we go up the embankment.... Good news on the knee - just ignore those scales!
great vanashin point in this one Pat, I have started getting nervous taking shots on our crossing as the lights change a bit too quickly and the train seems to be right there! Glad your knee is holding out
Fabulous perspective in this shot. It looks like you were lying on the track. Great news concerning your knees!! Sounds like an interesting book...will have to look that one up.
I'd cross the main north west railway line from Euston to Glasgow for a lovely roast dinner too. I think you made a step in the right direction. All in all a good decision.
