Ridges.

Harry went for his MRI scan this morning so I had a lovely half hour on the beach at Lytham St. Annes.
Lytham St. Annes is about 3 miles south of Blackpool & a very different place indeed. While Blackpool is in your face what you see is what you get Lytham St. Annes is much more genteel & refined.
The difference is quite amazing considering the short distance between the two towns.

This is the Forgotten Pier, originally it was an L shaped attachment to the main pier & was the landing jetty for the ferry to Liverpool & Southport across the bay.
When alternative transport facilities came available this old jetty was abandoned.
My extras photo shows the stand alone pier.

This afternoon three of us had a good old nosy round the sale rooms at Kirkby Lonsdale.
I have seen two tables & two rugs which I will bid for on Thursday.

I completely lost a day yesterday when I thought it was 1st May & my little boys birthday ..it was only when he rang last night & I wished him Happy Birthday I realised I had put the wrong date on yesterdays photos!!!

Very behind with my commenting & Master Chef final starts tonight...I will do my best & you are all stars for still commenting on mine! Thank you so much!

Three good things:
1. Some beautiful country side on our way to Kirkby Lonsdale this afternoon.
2. I had a delicious Florentine biscuit in the cafe, the first time I have ever tried one ....bang goes the diet today!!
3. Lovely warm sun today& I felt pleased with my photos.

@murnane Yes thank you Marg...he nearly fell asleep on the table during the scan, had to lie there & keep still for 30 minutes. Result in two weeks although he has a copy on a disc they gave him they say the result won't be at the doctors for a fortnight....sounds crazy to me!!!
