We have lots of squirrels & they run along the top of the wall, up the bird table & have a good tuck into all the stuff put out for the birds.
You couldn't be cross with them though & I really liked this ones smiley face!
Three good things:
1. A nice sunny sitting out day again but I have done some bed changing stuff too as well as a bit of hoovering....still no ironing done!
2. Lots of people visiting the farmers market in the village today.
3. Simple cooking for warmer weather!
@gerry Oh thank you so much Gerry...you are very generous with your faves!!!
We seem to have squirrels all year round now..whatever happened to hibernation?
A super sharp focus on this little love / hate creature --WE also have one scampering along the fences & onto the bird feeders here Also he / they dig out my winter bulbs & bury their nuts in my planters-- I see I have a hazel tree growing in one of my planters !!! A big nice fat Fav for me too Pat
A great shot of this endearing little thief! (Endearing was not an adjective we used for squirrels the year that they ate our spring bulbs out of the pot right in front of our patio doors!)
Good capture, excellent focus and detail. I too have a love/hate relationship with squirrels. Can't stand them around my house, but love to take photos of them and they are cute.
@fueast So the lovely B&b's know they are getting their moneys worth Alison!!!! Clean freshly ironed sheets is what they want & get!!! Not us though!!!
At least this one looks grateful. :) Love the smile. I get upset because we buy sunflower seeds without the shell (more expensive - but no mess) and the squirrels have figured out every squirrel-proof thing we can buy and chow down on the stuff. But then we do enjoy their antics, and most of them are nursing moms now, so I can't stay angry.
