Late posting tonight but I seem to be all behind with 365 today...a long day in the garden weeding & chopping before the green bins go tomorrow.
So hot too, I was nearly melting, not complaining but we aren't used to the heat are we?
BTW this is a tiny little rose bud about half an inch across.
Three good things:
1. A much tidier garden.
2. I won a bottle of rather special looking Pinot Noir in the garden raffle last Saturday....is there any truth in the saying that the better wines have a bigger dimple in the base of the bottle...this one has a whopper!
3. I The hedge cutter man has been & cut all the hedges down the lane.
Heavenly shot!! I mowed our yard (and it is hot and HUMID), and then since I was sweaty, I tackled the maple and mulberry saplings that have appeared in my roses. And got them bundled and out to the curb just before our pick up. AND my picture today is a pink flower! But not nearly as soft and pretty as yours. Well done. Kindred spirit. Although I prefer Pinot Grigio. ;)
This is absolutely gorgeous, Pat! Such soft, delicate colors and beautiful dof. Beautiful!! Sounds like you have a very productive day out in the sunshine. Enjoy that special bottle of wine...you deserve it. :) By the way, the punt (indent) in the bottom of the wine bottle is to help distribute the sediment...the more expensive wines have more sediment than the cheaper wines. At least that's what I've been told.

@happypat Hey that was such a good programme. We had it on BBC Scotland a couple of weeks ago but so lovely to see the ending as it happened yesterday! Still smile when I think about that win!
@sarah19 I have really enjoyed it Sallie...so moving & I'm so glad people have seen him at his best.....i think the tears last year did him nothing but good!
