The three hens from the house opposite used to come in our garden all the time, scratching in the flower beds & nicking the bird food.
Harry took some netting round to put at the bottom of their gate & up til now it has worked a treat, however this morning I saw this little trespasser hurrying past the kitchen window.
She was making a bee line for the bird table again!
Three good things:
1. A letter from America.
2. A surprisingly good glass of red wine from Aldi.
3. Apple pie for tea although I know I will rue eating pastry.
Great photo Granny! I love the fact that you've taken this at the chickens height level! It's a nice natural, crisp shot and to get a shot of an animal with such perfect composition is no easy task - I can speak from my experiences with our chickens and Willow the cat!
Little blighter. We had a chicken that used to escape and would come back home with slices of bread stolen from people's kitchens! She would head off down the road but always returned by dusk. Great chicken shot
She looks extremely determined! Great capture however! Aldi is brilliant for lots of stuff, Peter gets his gin there! I have just given myself indigestion from eating pastry party food :(
This is a wonderful shot! Little does the trespasser know that you have her on film. :)
Pat, I read your last post about your issues with pastry...have you ever tried gluten free flour when baking? I know a lot of people with digestive issues say gluten-free is the way to go.
This fabulous shot of the interloper from next door is an absolute fav!

Aldi wine gets very good reviews! :)
