A sheltered spot. by happypat

A sheltered spot.

In the lee of this wall & out of the way of the sea spray this man was having a quiet read of the papers.

I went to see One Chance last night ...I enjoyed it more than I thought I would...James Cordon did an excellent job as Paul Potts & generally it was a rather feel good film.

Three good things:
1. I have defrosted the chest freezer this morning & don't need to buy any food for a year!!!
2. I thought my B&B had done a runner this morning only to find a note on the dining table to say he had been called out to a fault & will be back tonight.
3. I have caught up with most commenting & some very funny stories made me laugh out loud!!
That looks like a great place, just a coffee needed for perfection !!

@guycalledjack Thanks Jack!
@padlock Yes a coffee would have been perfect...not my idea of a perfect spot with that wild sea behind the wall!
@gazbadger Thank you too gazbadger...much appreciated!

Just noticed 3 faves ...you are all stars!

The man looks tranquil, so absorbed in his reading, the sea looks very cold with the white caps. I agree with Padlock, coffee would be perfection.

Super shot Pat, I love the juxtaposition of the foaming sea against the peace of reading. Fav.

Great shot Pat -- but rather him than me , cold stone seat, cold gusts of wind ant those rolling & foaming waves on the sea -- brrrrrr !! not for me Pat

It must be pretty sheltered to read a paper(?) there - nice composition. What is the building - love the curves.

Well captured. He seems so isolated from the world as he sits there.

Fav for me too Pat! What a great atmosphere. Must go and see One Chance - I wasn't sure but you've swayed me! Probably have to go by myself - Nigel's got a new client so that'll mean no more skiving for a while.

This is so good for the dark focus on the man who is more important that the tempestuous sea beyond! Great photography, Pat!
