O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree... you are a little baby one!
Another peek through a square window.
I will be absent until Monday as I am off to Dublin on a ''girls'' weekend... girls said very loosely!!
Three good things:
1. The house is all clean.
2. Hair cut & sorted for Christmas.
3. Very small Ryanair suitcase packed tight so there will be minimal shopping!!!
Another beautiful window shot, Pat! And such a sweet baby tree! Speaking of babies, I take it there's no news on the new grandbaby front? Have a fabulous time with the girls in Dublin!! You know you can always buy an inexpensive tote type bag to bring home purchases if you can't stay away from shopping. :)
@peggysirk Thank you so much Peggy. No news about the baby but Jo is due to have a caesarian section next Thursday 19th so unless he comes early that is the date!
Ryanair are really strict about extra baggage & unless you book in your added baggage before you fly they charge an extra, well it was £60 but I think they dropped it to £30. Only in the last three weeks have they even allowed you to take a small ...they have sent the measurements ..hand bag or in my case camera case. Cheap flights but terrible on any extras!! I am going to try & squeeze an odd purchase in but quite happy to just look as I have been a bit cash happy lately...the sweaters!!!
So will Harry do breakfasts if you have a last minute B&B? Is this your window. Lovely cosy sight and very tastefully decorated tree. Have a fun trip away.
@lucypics Thanks Lucy...Harry is doing breakfast for my B&B on Monday morning, she always arrives on the Sunday...he is well trained & as long as it's someone he is used to & not a family of five he is fine & well able. Not my window just one on Garstang High Street the other evening....I will do one of mine soon!
@bpaquette I should put them all on as none will fit in my case Barbara.....a weeny little case with less that 10kg in it...my toiletries make up most of that!! Good to travel light though!!
I don't know, Pat. Since I dropped my camera, I've basically stopped taking photos. It works, but it's a little hit and miss with the focusing, and like yourself, I'd rather post something that I think is good than post average looking photos that I'm not really happy with. Even in the recent sunset photo I took, the focus is a little iffy.
I was going to update the camera, and then some investment shares I had recently, lost a lot of money, so that has put quite a few projects on hold. As ever, there are more important things to spend the money on currently what with Christmas around the corner. Buying a hobbyist item for myself doesn't feel a priority.
At the moment, I'm happy to look in occasionally and enjoy other people's efforts. :)
@sabresun Well it is rather an expensive hobby & I sometimes feel I spend far too much time sitting at the computer commenting ...such as now when I should be in bed...early start tomorrow up at six yet here I am!!
Still enjoy it though & like the friends I make on here so much, would really miss that part of it...some people do some amazing photos with little P&S I sometimes wonder why we spend more than we should!! iphone is the most popular camera & I know it's too expensive for me as I don't use my phone very much it certainly does both jobs well!
Glad you keep track anyway....I go on here far more that FB now!
Fabulous shot Pat, a lovely Christmassy feel to it. Fav. Enjoy your weekend, I hear the bar owners of Temple Bar have doubled their orders this weekend!!
Love the shot! I bought the sqeeze all the air out bags at Lakeland when i was travelling with Easyjet my case was small but boy was it heavy - but Easyjet have size but no weigh restrictions. Bon Voyage!
