A damp rainy afternoon & the light was very low on my walk to the village.
I shot into the sun again here & you can see the flooded fields & the outline of a mill conversion that our son Anthony worked on when he was doing his building job before he went to NZ.
The chimney pot is his alone!!
Three good things:
1. The walking boots for Max have arrived in the post.
2. I have ordered my new B&B cards.
3. Lemon & Lime M&S yoghurt.
This is a superb shot Pat, wonderful light and the reflections and reflected light on the stream are perfect. Just beautiful with a little hint of mystery.
@quietpurplehaze Thank you hazel...I actually prefer this one to the one I did the other day at Blackpool that got all those faves, I am still amazed at that!!
I do like this outlined shot of the building, the trees and the water gleams! That yoghurt sounds yummy - just had some berry yoghurt on my fresh raspberries from the garden!
This is beautiful. How lovely to get out and walk isn't it. I did that tonight too but no camera - tissues instead, but Ruby dog soon put a smile in my face. 😊
Memories hey? Dreading mine leaving, gulp ..... Lovely composition, really like the light here and the fact you have used it to your advantage in creating this silhouette of the mill.
@lucypics Don't dread it Lucy - life begins again when they leave!
