I went for a walk down the fields this afternoon, the first one without Tui...it felt very odd , so quiet with nothing moving.
As soon as she saw the camera going round my neck she would start barking all excited. Many a time I would try & sneak off without her as she always got in the way but no fooling Tui!
It was so hot & muggy with lots of biting things, I took loads of photos of bees on cow-parsley etc but liked none of them....this is the one that took my fancy the most.
The layers of bank by the River Wyre.....our side, then the river with sort of flotsam on it, sandy bank, cow parsley, trees & a darkening sky....layers.
Three good things:
1. All fathers on this Fathers Day.
2. Spoke to both sons who rang up within ten minutes of each other last night.
3. Left over breakfast...the B&Bers only had two rashers of bacon & tomato so we are having the works tonight.
great shot Pat, it's horrible when our four legged friends aren't there any more, even if it is to make a pest of themselves! 21st/22nd/23rd July looks like a likely opportunity for me to come and pay you a visit...it's in the week as unfortunately all the Friday sessions got cancelled! I thought maybe I could come and stay one evening and perhaps we could go for a bite to eat and a wander with our cameras? I know mid week isn't ideal but does it sound OK to you?
That's a gorgeous photo Pat but it must indeed feel strange to go on your own. Good memories though. So nice to be in touch with everyone at weekends! We've had one of them too.....now just back to Allan and me but that's fine too!
@sparkle sounds great Juliette definitely up for that. Will message you as I am at Cathys at the moment ...will check dates but pretty sure any of those days.
Super land & sky scape -- luscious land and angry sky !! Yes it is very strange to go without TUI - It really pulls at the strings of your heart doesn't it !!
