After a wet start the day turned out beautifully.....bright & a bit of blue sky.
We have been very lazy.....a quiet morning & this afternoon I took Alex to her other grandparents for tea.
I took this photo quite high up on the fell above Whitechapel....couldn't resist a little detour on my way home!
Thank you so much for all you kind people who faved my recent photos especially the Christingle one.....I have been a bit erratic with the comments lately!
Three good things:
1. I found a bit of snow on the fells above Garstang.....we might go nearer tomorrow for a winter walk.
2. Driving home it was low lying fog too so another photo op I haven't had in a long while!
3. My hyacinths are smelling gorgeous!
Nicely proportioned with the large bit being an interesting and rather dramatic sky! You are good with your winter walks! Getting dressed to go outside after sitting by a warm fire and being so comfortable!
What a beautiful shot, love the silhouette of the trees and the sky is quite magical. I must ring my sister tonight and see if it has been snowing where she lives. Haven't spoken to her on the phone for a few days.
