We have ten visiting Soay sheep pasturing in our field.
They belong to house number eleven on our lane which is opposite us.
Amanda & Chris breed these sheep so Harry asked them if they wanted to graze them here for a bit to keep our grass down.
Very agile with curly horns they are completely different from our poor old deceased Henry!

Just an add on...have just seen my coffee house photo has been on PP with 5 faves.....I can't seem to think how the PP works at the moment.....you can get on there with just a few faves & miss with more ....ah well! Thank you to all of you who faved & commented.

Three good things:
1. It's really good to have animals around again!
2. My B&B friend has bought me a beautiful blue tub for the back door. I am going to put some English lavender in there when it comes into the garden centre later.
3. Harry & I have done our big hanging basket & covered it up with special frost proof material.
Lovely shot, and what a wonderful view. Will they use the wool I wonder?

These look like the sheep that I came across recently and I didn't know what breed they were! I did a bit of research and came up with Soay! Their horns arch back in a curve? Amazing. John thought they were goats but I didn't. The PP business - I think the 'monkeys' are giving everyone a chance and it encourages and pleases them! Good time to get that hanging basket organised - got to be early for the season.

@maggiemae looking again at this photo you can't see the horns on the females so much as in real life. I will have another look tomorrow but pretty sure they all have horns. I think you're right about PP ....I never look at it these days.....Trending seems to be the only one I get on......not like you on TT !!!!

@maggiemae we did the hanging basket & covered it up as Harry will be out of commission for a bit & I can't lift it up on my own as its on the big shed which is high!!

Love this. We are surrounded by sheep but nothing so exotic and interesting as this. I don't understand the PP system and rarely get there anyway but I did notice you and I were on there together the other day. Our pictures sitting next to each other!!
