Our grandchildren are getting virtual hugs this Christmas...well four of them are, I doubt the two grandsons in their early twenties would appreciate this!
I did not knit these jumpers I hasten to add, just ordered the tags!
Three good things:
1. A new ink cartridge for the printer which was a cheap copy & works perfectly!
2. I am notoriously bad at maths but managed to work out a percentage of VAT for next doors electric bill.
3. I have put the Christmas cards in the kitchen ready for making a start, a job I hate.....they are looking at me!
What beautiful and warm jerseys - with the sheepskin collars! And a great idea for the tags to be able to order them! I use apps for maths. How's your cough Pat? Mine hasn't gone away yet!
@maggiemae mind is still here too but is worse when I talk lots specially on the phone but I do think it's better than it was thank you. You need to chill out on your porch & rest up after all this traveling!
they will look so gorgeous in those beautiful jumpers and I love the collars. Postage is always so expensive for us to send things to the U.K. so we often resort to internet shopping but its not quite the same is it;
@cruiser Well I have sent money this year Chris but always try & send a bit of something to actually open. It has to be light & I just couldn't resist these in the Pre Christmas sale. Too hot for now but they will grow into them. X
What a wonderful idea Pat. The jumpers look great as well. If I give you my address book you could do my cards while you're on a roll. I always feel guilty because I think it's a job a I should enjoy but I don't!
@thistle I agree with you about the cards Joyce. I have been procrastinating for days now and can always think of something else I need to do and the guilt just builds up. Some would say why bother but for some of them its the only slim connection I have and would hate to lose touch completely.
Absolutely adorable!!! Are these wonderful sweaters for Max and Finn? I've ordered a couple of things for Harper and Will's Christmas from Mini Boden. Love their clothes. And I love, love your Granny tags!!!
@peggysirk yes they are Peggy. Got them when they had 39% off so a good bargain. I buy quite a lot of mini Boden always in the sale as the seasons work well for me. Not on the High Street website is where I got the labels.
These labels are fab! I'm a huge fan of not on the high street. Went a bit mad in White Stuff today - two dresses, some socks for Christmas for Adam and a green velvet coat - 20% off. Nigel's fault - he's gone to Paris so I can sneak them in without him knowing!
Ps I'm always a bit sad about not having children to buy for when I see Mini Boden stuff - especially the boys which I bought for both ours and I think they do boys really well.
@judithg Ooh I have done that many a time....I can see you in Velvet....I loooove velvet! Your turn will come for grandchildren.....you are only a youngster still! Yes good on @peggysirk I can just see her littke ones in Boden. I got a Christmas catalogue...another one...today but half the stuff is sold!
