First snow

Just a smattering of snow on the fells today. It was cold & crisp & the first bit of proper winter weather of the season.

Three good things:
1. A brisk walk up near the Trough of Bowland.

This is absolutely beautiful! A gorgeous expanse of green with that dusting of white on the hills. We had snow mentioned in our forecast, but it seems to have been replaced with just plain rain. :(
