I had really hoped to get out & take a 'live' photo today but we've been so busy with B&B stuff that I haven't been able to get out all day!
Cabin fever I think!
The weather is glorious & the same all week so hopefully I can move on from my holiday snaps.
This is Melbourne General Cemetery & believe me this isn't one fifth of it, it goes on forever!
Taken from the top of a tour bus.
Three good things:
1. A gift of some fresh salmon for our tea!
2. All washing dried & then ironed by me. Thank goodness I have a sit down iron, it means I can do my bit to help.
3. Lots of lovely visitors.
@ladymagpie ha ha Heather! Maybe one of those graves holds the bones of the famous Ned Kelly of whom John's grandparents had a story to tell! "Robbed trains and coaches without fear" sings John!
Oh, we will all be but a headstone marking our days as well. The important ones - Date of birth and date of death - and it's up to us to fill the lines in between.
