Grand weather for hens

I always fall back on our hens when short of a photo! Plenty of Lake Windermere ones still but felt like a change!

Three good things:
1. I have spent most of the day tidying & clearing out the attic. Everytime I had to go in there it was getting me down, just a dumping ground. I was getting worried the floor might actually cave in with the weight of stuff. Plus there were loads of dead flies on the floor after I had fly bombed the attic flies, it looks so much better & I found stuff too!!
2. I took a load of blankets to the charity place.
3. The third book in The Seven Sisters saga has been uploaded into my kindle on a pre order, I can't wait to start it tonight! @maggiemae I feel I've deserved it after today!!

A lovely speckled chook.. must be very handy having attic storage..

Funny you should say that, Pat as I was just thinking this was yours as it came up!

Such a gorgeously plump chooky hen -- she's such a beauty Pat .Sounds as a busy day -- I have also rather too much up in the attic rather a hoard but find it difficult to climb the ladder stairs to get up there !!it must be a ggd day and in the mood !!

@beryl I got up vowing to clear the space this morning Beryl. As soon as I'd had my breakfast I was at it. Luckily proper stairs up to ours as it's on the third floor so easy to get to. I left the two beds as I knew if I did them first I wouldn't feel like it! Done the beds tonight so I'm really ready for a sit down!

I know that about the book - been following Lucinda! I could get it on my Kindle too but maybe our Library will get it! Still on The Light behind the window one! A good job with the attic. Did you throw lots out?

@maggiemae I finished the light one yesterday morning, gets better as it goes on. Three of us are reading from my kindle list so dont feel it's too much expense although I must admit it's the most I've paid for a book on kindle! Kindle books are getting dear I think, they used to be much cheaper than proper paperbacks but now I notice any best sellers that come out are the same price!

It looks like a happy (and handy) hen. All that cleaning makes me feel tired. I have a few cupboards like that but no attic to climb thank goodness.

Nice chook shot

A gorgeous looking girl. I shudder to think what is in our attic. David is the one who puts stuff up there. It is probably full of things he hasn't the heart to throw out, being somewhat of a hoarder.

what beautiful chook. I am glad I dont have an attic, our shed is bad enough. I am using the fact that we are having our house painted inside (and out) to start on some decluttering. My craft room is the worst.
