Lots going on today in our old farm yard.
A day we have been looking forward to for a while, taking down the rest of this building. Instead of dark buildings blocking our view, when it's all gone we will be able to see fields & a road.
The building with scaffolding used to be our milking parlour, we spent hours in that place! They have just started converting it into another house.
The one on the right is our old calf & heifer building. You will remember it as the barn with the roof sliding off in past 365 photos.
A beautifully converted house ready to move into by the new owners at the end of May.
So the end of an era but we are happy to see two houses on this site as obviously living so near it affects us greatly whatever is over the wall.
Three good things:
1. We can see Blackpool Tower from the kitchen...the small tower inbetween the roof tops.
2. Harry is looking after Bramble the cat but hadn't seen her since the neighbours had set off on Monday morning. She was found shut in their bedroom but no mess!
3. I have a new doctors appointment on Friday morning. I have been shunted off to a new doctor as the one I have been seeing is going on holiday. I am happy to have someone new!
nice to see it being use and two nice new in keeping houses . things move on and change, better view too when old building gone...when its so close though does affect you whatever happens around you
A bit of work in that conversion - can see some crumbling brick. Your area must now be a place of quality and have a good demand for housing. Wow - about that cat - are you sure, no mess? Under the bed? In the corner? Sounds like your wrist is not getting any better!
@maggiemae Harry says no mess that he could see & it's his job so I haven't been near! Yes just two new houses next door but quality ones. Means there are now Thirteen houses down our lane.
Hope the different doctor can fix your problem. Is this related to your wrist?
