Jack

I spent the afternoon with our grandson Jack, taking him first to the dentist in Garstang & next to the doctor in Longridge. Just check ups & an injection before he sets off at the end of July for his great adventure & new phase in his life on the JET programme teaching English in Japan for any time from a year up to five years.
While we were having a coffee in this cafe he learned he had gained a 2:1 in his Philosophy degree at the University of Sheffield, I was delighted to be there when he came back into the cafe all smiles!

Well done Jack, we are proud of you & good luck in your next venture.

Three good things:
1. All our six grandchildren & how they are learning to become good citizens in the world.
2. Hot buttered teacake.
3. Fun gift bags to put presents in.
Ah that's brilliant! Well done to him and I hope he enjoys his time away. He looks so happy. I like your no 1. It's all we hope for really.

A lovely family portrait. Good Luck to Jack in Japan - I have never been there but I am a fan of NHK TV which shows it to be a most remarkable and beautiful and cultured country.

Nice to be there when he heard about his results though I don't know what 2:1 means. He's a hard worker and deserves the best life!
