A very indulgent day for me today!
First at the village beauty shop for a bit of general maintenance then onto the hairdressers for cut, colour & blow dry. Back home for half an hour then picked up for lunch out with cinema friend Dot.
I had hot shrimps with warm roll & plenty of butter plus G&T. Afterwards we both had scone, jam, butter & clotted cream then coffee!
Had to miss the evening meal again as I was so full!
Three good things:
1. Good to indulge!
2. A new small white china mug, I love to drink my tea hot so small & china is good!
3. Reading new magazines in the hairdressers!
Sounds a lovely day Pat -- A day of pamper and out with your friend -- like no 2 I was only taking with my friend yesterday of how nice it is to have fine china cups and mugs -- tea tastes so much better !
You had a great well planned day! Made you feel good on all sides! Where I am at the moment, they don't know what a small cup is! All monstrous sizes and thick crockery! Fine and dainty suits me too!
