Roof

Scraping the barrel today for a photo!
This is the roof of our old milking shed & collecting yard.
It's up for sale for development into two houses so I went in to take a few photos for old times sake.
Love the way the roof trusses & struts all fit together.

Three good things:
1. Cinema day & we went to see Logan Lucky with Daniel Craig. We enjoyed it but not as good as last weeks. The West Virginian accent was tricky to follow.
2. Found a site online to work out different rates of VAT. Maths is definitely not my strong subject!
3. Enjoying a new book called The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick. It's different!

What a shame to see your old barn knocked down to make way for houses. Looks like it's still in good condition.

Love the lines and detail. Did you do an hdr edit? It works really well. Shame it'll go but times change.

Times are changing.. is it grtti g knocked down or a conversion.. perhaps we will see it on a George Clark restoration man sometime soon..

That's really a piece of heritage and the beauty of the craftsmanship that went into these constructions is just as significant as anything more modern built with all the modern technology. Love it!
