High tide

A blustery day in Blackpool!

I could never live by the sea!

Three good things:
1. I don't live by the sea & we are high up!
2. 20% of M&S thanks to the Sparks card! I never look at the offers but the girl on the pay desk did & we got money off Harry's new belt! Better than nothing!
3. Cathy fixed my feet before she goes on her holidays tomorrow!
Super shot, love the mood created here.

A really good capture of the blustery weather Pat , and the wheel looks marvellous against the cloudy sky -- it looks a really grey day !

Same weather here, I'm afraid. Pouring rain.
Love your picture.

I just love ferris wheels on wharfs. We don't have them here so they always fascinate me.

@kwind I would never dare go on one though Kim!

It does look a bit blustery.. we are a couple of k's from the ocean/west coast and it can be pretty noisy, farmer George can tell what the weather is going to be by the roaring of the coast ..

If you have lived by the sea and now don't, you miss the sound of the waves! The sea always changes too so its good to have a sea view! The ripples on the waves here indicate the strong wind - which might mean a change for better weather?

@julzmaioro @maggiemae We are seven miles inland from the sea here at Bkackpool so near enough thank you. I have always been nervous of the sea & today as I looked down between the buildings towards the sea the horizon seemed so high, I could never settle in my bed. The sea in NZ is love,y but was even quite nervous in the beach hose on the Whangamata sands. I listened to it at night thinking of tsunamis! I think I must have been in one in a previous life! 😨

Lovely shore scene!

Fabulous shot, quite atmospheric, the sea looks pretty rough.

I just love living by the ocean and our house is about 300 metres from the beach.

@onewing I think an Australian sea might be much nicer to live by than a U.K. Sea Babs, yours pretty much look much calmer & definitely bluer!

The ferris wheel adds so much to this scene - lovely.

A rough sea but I love the blue/grey tones.

Nice drama! Would love to live by the sea, though perhaps not this close and definitely up a hill a bit ( but not in an eroded clifftop bit!)
