We've had along day at the Westmorland Show today near Kendal.
Managed to get B&B breakfast done early & we were there by 9am.
The weather was great although bit muddy underfoot.
Saw lots of people we knew & we never seemed to stop eating!
Prince of Wales was there looking at cows & strolling around in the food hall.
Called in for fish & chips in the village on our way home.
Might be a bit lax in the commenting department tonight as I'm a bit late getting onto 365 tonight plus I'm tired!
Three good things:
1. A lovely day in a farming community we love.
2. I bought a polo shirt & a cashmere scarf in lovely colours.
3. We didn't have to be towed out of the car park field this year!
@snowy the Westmorland Show is a really good one day show Diana, a beautiful show ground in stunning scenery & no tacky stuff, not a fairground ride in sight!
You obviously had a big appetite to eat at the show and also get fish and chips! A great day of good food! You mean Charlie was there? It must be an important show!
@onewing Ha ha Babs but that's one of the reasons they are sitting there to move the s--t out of the way! Their cows so someone is there at all times even overnight!
I love my peak into your farming world. Your 'three good things' has inspired me to take photos of all the things in life I'm grateful for - and possibly making a photo book of all the photos .
