Over £600 raised for the local mouth & breast cancer charity, I think we did pretty well!
All the neighbours were there & there was a fashion show, jewellery stall, lots of prosecco. Gin cakes & a big raffle.
A good time was had by all.
Three good things:
1. Six ladies in for a jolly have left this morning vowing to be back next year.
2. Took Harry & I until 2pm to clear up & make beds etc but we have a free night in front of us as tonight's B&B's had a change of plan.
3. Washing line is full but they are blowing in the sun so hopefully drying!
Sounds like a great night and fundraiser.. well done .. I was sitting collecting for Breast Cancer appeal outside the supermarket the other day... it is one appeal that most people stop and donate as they 'know' someone affected..
@julzmaioro I can say this on here because no one reads this around here but the couple who organised it he has cancer of the jaw so very close to their hearts.
We had a friend who had jaw cancer but he sadly died. Looks like everyone is great friends here. Well organised by whoever! Such a lot of work changing all the beds!
