Tiers

No tears today as I've been out with my cinema friend for our first day out four at least five weeks.
She has a new grandson & also had her other daughter over from Australia so been doing family stuff.
We had lunch at pizza express...very busy with half term in Blackpool but we managed to find a quiet corner with a large White wine & lunch.
Afterwards a very pleasant afternoon watching Flavia Caccacia & Vincent Simone doing their Argentina tango show.
Only trouble was Vincent was injured which was greeted with a groan but the two dancers who covered for him were excellent...Flavia is a very special dancer!

The Grand Theatre in Blackpool is an amazingly beautiful theatre almost a miniature Albert Hall!
Photo a bit busy but not good light plus no photos allowed!

Three good things:
1. After the show we wandered back to the car & looked in my bag, no keys! Luckily they were under my seat, I had to almost run all the way back to the Grand.
2. Sub titles, it makes life so much easier sometimes!
3. Mars bar ice cream.
Well, this was special! I wish I was there! Love the tango - such a sultry dance! You wouldn't have heard the keys fall on the floor but lucky you thought of it! And you didn't have a mars bar ice-cream did you?

What a lovely afternoon's treat I think that Flavia and Vincent dance so beautifully , and I was saddened that they no longer are romantically linked ! Even without Vincent --I am sure it was a lovely treat for the afternoon !

@beryl Yes & the other dancers were wonderful just not Vincent! Had a bad night commenting Beryl, things got in the way p! Trying to drum up family to help me entertain surprise visiting cousin on Saturday! Thought I had a fairly quiet weekend, staying over too with the other B&B's! Not seen said cousin for years but his team at Lytham for rugby.

Wow that's certainly a grand theatre. Must be very special to see the professional dancers live. Strictly has certainly transformed the perception of ballroom dancing and fun to watch when I get the chance.

@brennieb I met him when the Strictly contestants were coming out of the Tower Ballroom a couple of years ago. We had been to see Alfie Boe at the Winter Gardens & we walked down to watch them all come out. Quite a character!
