This gully in the river bank had quite an intricate fencing. I have no idea what it was supposed to be for, keeping any stray animals out I suppose!
Cinema today to see Molly's Game. All about the game of poker which I know nothing about so mostly went over my head. My friend said at the end ' wasn't that good ' but it didn't do much for me. I had a job trying to follow the plot & if you nodded off you were lost.
I might not do much commenting tonight, please excuse me as I was very slow getting to sleep last night, talking 2.30 & the night before Harry was coughing. Had all his work & mine to do today e.g. Dustbins, hens etc so really yawning tonight. Up at 6.30 am for breakfasts!
Three good things:
1. I have had my feet done, Cathy met me on her way home at my friends & I am pain free! Hoorah!
2. Two hard boiled eggs & a stick of celery on the back row of the cinema!
3. I can walk across the front lawn without my feet sinking in the water. Drying out nicely everywhere!
A lovely blue sky and a touch of the winter sun !Sorry that Harry is still off colour -- hope He will soon be on the mend ! Hope you will have a good night's sleep tonight ! Love your 3 good things - esp no2 I had to smile at the two hard-boiled eggs !! - not a delicacy you could eat gently in the dark very easily - just can envisage the yolks popping along the row !!
Maybe it is where the fence makers used to practice. I suppose they have to start somewhere. a bit like the road works on the M6 when we lived in the UK. There were always hold ups, I am sure it is where the navvy's used to do their training.
An interesting landscape full of sticks! They may not want the cow effluent going into the river! Hard boiled eggs are difficult to eat by themselves - better to eat as Scotch Eggs!
Looks like the fencing would do a good job of keeping just about anything out of the water. Always love your three good things. Hope you got some much needed sleep last night! Take good care of your sweet self!!!
I laughed at lunch in cinema....I'm beginning to enjoy celery.
