Lily has top spot in our house & she loves Harry more than anything.
He is a slave to her needs!
She is nineteen on the 7th May 2018 so an old lady now.
As you may notice she has a twisted back which she was born with. It has not hindered her at all but she looks lob sided!
Three good things:
1. Pets.
2. Family for supper.
3. Road gritting.
Such a wonderful and beautiful little lady despite her disability ! She has a comfortable and loving home and obviously the best lap in the business ! She is of a good age Pat -- out old ginger tomcat was 21+ when he died ! They become such part of the family , don't they !
@beryl oh my goodness Bery, 21 is a terrific age. Sounds awful but Lily really upsets our trips to NZ as she really frets when Harry is away so next years trip will be a real worry. I'm going on my own this year but we are hoping to go fir six weeks next year & take in Japan too.
Lily looks very well for her age .. I have seen cats of that age before they really don't look they are leading a happy life..
Like Harry's vest as well.. I think he needs an All Black jersey as well...
Lily is a beauty. We acquired a tortoise shell cat called Miffy when we first came to Australia. she belonged to our neighbour but decided she preferred to live with us. We were told by the neighbour that she probably wouldn't stay because she was a wanderer, but we had her for 16 years and she only died then because she was poisoned by catching a rat that had eaten rat poison.
She was such a character and a true princess just like Lily.
She likes Harry's lap but is still staring at you! Loves you just as much! You are so lucky to have her so long but I would not fret about next year's trip - a lot can happen in a year!
