Not a photo I would have picked for myself but the best one on offer. I think it quite captures the pleasure of meeting a fellow classmate.
The first reunion I have ever been to so was a bit daunting walking through the door.
Luckily I saw someone on their own who was very chatty so we were relieved to sit together. Met up with three others I knew including my classmate Phyll pictured here! She has worn very well, always was a rather glamorous person even at school & my main memory of her was her very frowned upon habit of wearing make up in class.
A bit of a rebel in those days but stood her ground against some of the weird & now I look back ridiculous convent rules.
Three good things:
1. School reminiscing.
2. We looked quite good for our ages in comparison... that sounds awful but I work hard to keep in shape so I don't care!
3. Out tonight for a meal so no cooking again!
Good for both of you! I attended my 25th college reunion but nothing beyond. That satisfied my curiosity and I decided I didn’t want to have to replace those I images with any others!
What a scary moment when entering that room . But so good when the chat starts to flow ! We had a reunion in our 50th year !! a long time ago now -- just nice to remember us as we were ! Lovely photo !
