I love cards & there is always usually some form of card on my dresser.
My card on the right has been specially customised with hand drawn pearls!
A very wet day so no going out.
Three good things:
1. The humour & life of Ken Dodd who died yesterday. You certainly got your money's worth if you ever went to one of his concerts, he went on for ever!
2. Left over apple pie & ice cream.
3. I rang up for my PAC code as my mobile phone contract was putting the price up in accordance with price index. Not for me thank you but as I thought you threaten to leave they do a good price. Gone down from £11.71 a month to £6 so I am pleased!

Ooooh ..... I am ringing for my PAC code tomorrow for the same reason. I doubt they will offer me a good deal though. Even the Carphone Warehouse were shocked at the upgrade offer!!
@willowdragon y too be honest Al I am quite frugal on the phone, only 1Gb, unlimited texts & calls so not bad. As I am at home lots I just use my iPad. They were very quick to offer a much lower price! EE.
@huvesaker Yes Mr Tickly Stuck, he was 90 & been in hospital for quite a while. Only let him out a few days before, he married his long term partner on Fruday so he had a busy few days!

Wonderful all around, Pat. I’m intrigued by the Bramble Gin Liquer. It appears to be dark in color. Our Gin is clear. Lovely ve your cards, especially the leopard one!
@louannwarren The Gin is made from blackberries Lou Anne so will take on that colour. It's very sweet & can be drunk neat, with lemonade or tonic etc the bottle is nearly full, haven't drunk much. Will do in the summer perhaps. I bought it at Chatsworth House just before Christmas.
@sarah19 it was easy Sallie, hardly had to ask, just said I wanted to,leave! They tried to Getz Garry plus our BT account changed over but I resisted that.

Sorry to hear of Ken Dodd's demise I had always said he would die on stage -- but I was wrong !So glad he married Ann even if it was at the last minute so to speak ! '

@beryl I think the poor women must have almost given up hope after 40 years! We went to see him once at the Opera House in Blackpool. Must have been almost fifty years ago now but we had to leave about midnight, couldn't stay awake any longer, he was still going strong! I am not a person who enjoys comedians but I can remember laughing a bit!
@happypat I went with Gary to see him when we were in Llandudno about 6-7 years ago - like you I am a bit choosy with comedians , but he was Ok with no bad language ,clean but with innuendos !! ( Gary thoroughly enjoyed him !! ) I thought he would never end we finally got out og the theatre after 1-30am !

David's grandad knew Ken Dodd in Liverpool many many years ago and reckoned he was the meanest man in Liverpool.
It looks as though he had the last laugh with the taxman by marrying his long suffering partner two days before he died. That way he avoids paying inheritance tax.
Sad about ken Dodd - we saw him a few years ago in Southport and even at 88 years old as he was then he still carried on until after midnight! A very funny man
