A very rare sight on the roads today!
I took the wrong exit off the motorway this morning so had to divert along this narrow road where there are lots of houses being built.
Had to wait a while because of the pothole repairs. I think the builders probably said get these potholes filled else we won't have any buyers!
Three good things:
1. Almost back door open weather, birds are singing!
2. Listening to Vaughan Williams The Lark Ascending as I was ironing this afternoon.
3. Last but not least I have booked my flights to NZ, just on hold for 72 hours while I check the dates with family.
@quietpurplehaze Everywhere Hazel, the mind boggles how much it's all going to cost. A wonder no cyclist has been killed! They have to look down all the time! This was a miserable little road, I feel sure they were doing it solely for the selling of houses.
This is what is so good with 365 - finding out a phrase, a fact, a piece of music - like Lark Ascending. I"m listening to it now and it goes with the wide country scene I'm looking at. Of course, Google and Utube help!
@beryl You have to watch the road all the time you're driving. I do try to avoid them but if someone us coming towards you on the other side you have tomgo over them!
Thankfully they're doing pothole repairs here too. Some very nice sections of road and then patches in other places 😔
How exciting to have NZ TRIP plans 😄😄😄
