Our youngest NZ grandson has always loved cats. He loved Lily & his dad & mum promised him a kitten when their new house was built.
Well they moved in just over a week ago, it has a back door with a cat flap built in all ready.
Their oldest dog Buck died yesterday so they were all naturally upset so a cheer up was in order.
Jo managed to source a kitten yesterday so here is Finn with his new kitten. Not quite sure of each other yet but she is doing everything right using litter tray & new cosy bed.
They gave chosen the name Storm but it's a possibility that might change I'm guessing! All sorts of odd names have been suggested!
I'm really looking forward to meeting Storm when I visit at the end of May.
A funny old world, our cat makes way for Finns cat!
I was overwhelmed by all the wonderful messages on yesterday's post regarding our Lily.
Many thanks for your love & support, it so appreciated. 😍❤️
Three good things:
1. Feeling energised by a good brisk walk.
2. A very tidy & clean kitchen. Sorry Lily!
3. Smiling excited faces!
@alinz You know I doubt it Ali. I have never headed north yet so expect it will be the same this year. I get picked up from the airport & straight down to Morrinsville then after that on to Taupo. With two families to visit it means not much time to do much more traveling except in the vicinity of family. Think I might get to Napier this year with luck. Will key you know if plans change. Might be here longer next year as Harry coming too!
@maggiemae There were a few claws out yesterday at first & Finn backed off a bit but she has been handled lots by her original family of four kids so should be OK. Finn was very gentle with Lily so I think it will be fine.
Thank you all, I loved showing you this picture. It was exciting seeing the photos myself!
