Cobbled streets & a girl on a phone, she never heard my camera clicking away thank goodness & for some reason my iphone makes a really loud noise.
Beyond this cobbled area you go down the steps to Winckley Gardens.
Three good things:
1. The holiday makers are home.
2. I spilt boiling custard on my hand last night, ran the cold tap for a good six or seven minutes & then soaked my hand in cold water for 15 minutes. It seems to have done the trick, slightly red & a bit sore along my fingers but nowhere near as bad as it could be,
3. The final of Masterchef this week.
I get the picture - Winkley gardens etc. Very nice to see. You can turn the click off on an iPhone! In the settings. Boiling custard is nasty - it sticks so you did the right thing! Was it for apple pie?
Lovely old cobbled area but not very friendly towards high heels or mobility scooter . From the old cobbled area to the modern girl on her mobile ! How awful to spill hot custard on your arm - you did the right thing with your water treatment. Hope this makes sense - multi tasking - as I am watching Master chef ! - don't know who will win !!
@beryl No high heels or mobility scooters Bery, that did make me laugh! From one extreme to the other but the same thing applies! I was shocked when Moonira went out, I thought she could have won although always leaning towards Indian cooking. I think Nara.....whatever his name is will win even though he boobed tonight!
The old Cobbles streets are so nice, takes you back in time.I know you have to be careful when you walk,I have tripped on these.
Nice strret shot.
Hope your hand is on the mend.
I am curious about not being able to turn the click of your phone off, I can on my phone, but it is a Samsung, although I would think the option is there in your phone settings somewhere. You need a teenager to look at it, they know all that kind of stuff!
@jackie8 It's not just a click it's a sound, really loud & I have asked loads of people including Jack but no one seems to be able to quieten it, I even asked someone in a phone shop! It's an iPhone 5 if anyone has a solution!
Many thanks for your comments & sympathies about the custard!
Ouch, sorry to hear about the custard burn, sounds painful. Hopefully running your hand under water has done the trick.
Nice strret shot.
Hope your hand is on the mend.
