I parked in a lay by to take a quick photo on my way to have my feet done at Cathys house.
The hedges are very slow coming out, they need some warm sun.
Three good things:
1. Hair appointment today, I always enjoy sitting with my book & then a wash with the back massage on.
2. Lovely to see Cathy again & hear all her holiday news.
3. Harry has opened his chocolate egg at last!!
HAHAHA Harry has great self control...I do not. Nice house on the hill. Oooh I love getting my hair done. I have to get mine cut soon....mmm, when do I have the time...hahahaha
At least the grass is very green Pat. I decided to buy Peter an Easter egg this year as they were £6 each or two for £8. I only needed three, so it seemed silly not to buy four!
A grey sky but an intriguing windy road. The hedges are neatly trimmed and frame the road beautifully! Not fond of choc eggs - didn't even have one. But did have a lovely easter bun!
"And down the lane I met Mary "! (Tom Jones song ) comes to mind as I look at this wiggly woggly way with the hose in the distance ! Nice neat hedges ready to burst with fresh green leaves Pat !
I love country lanes. What a lovely treat to have feet done and storytelling at the same time. How long will Harry take to finish his egg I wonder? I'm guessing he won't eat it all in a hurry!! 😄😄
Lovely sweeping road and sweet little house - I bet it has a lovely view. Today I went out twice and I swear the canola had started to come out the 2nd time, I'm sure I would have noticed it earlier.... perhaps spring is on the way at last
@sarah19 no he only had a bit, it will come out agIn tomorrow! I ordered Turtke Doves, plumped fir the light grey, in the sale & an extra £2 off so £18 in the end. I really fancied the cornflower blue ones but couldn't warrant the £29 the dearest of them all, typical me always likes the dearest!
We had a wonderful spring day!
@gijsje been a bit gloomy here but forecast is good.
@ @maggiemae were good at looking after our hedges in Lancashire, dairy & livestock area so we need to keep the stock in the fields!
I love that song.
