Turtle doves by happypat

Turtle doves

I have been dithering about buying some of these cashmere fingerless gloves for a few weeks now but after I saw @sarah19 wearing hers I thought go for it!
I get real numb fingers beacause I suffer from Raynaud's disease which is a real problem even in the the summer. Any alteration in the the temperature even in the shower & I can't feel my fingers.
These gloves keep your wrist warm & today I haven't had one white finger!

Three good things:
1. A clean car
2. Sometimes who you know is very handy!
3. A weekend away.
They look really cosy

I have six pairs in different colours pus some wrist warmers, a gorgeous scarf and a couple of loops (I think they are called) I love them all - so soft and very cosy!! Turtle Doves keep sending me special offers - I must resist!!

@pamknowler The colours are so gorgeous aren't they, I really liked the hyacinth ones but plumped for grey to begin with. You must find them efficient if you have so many Pam!

@happypat Great for my dog walking and also having fingers free for my camera buttons. I love all the colours - I really do not need any more - no I don't!! LOL!! So tempting!!

April 13th, 2018
Oh I’m so glad you bought them! I have heard they are wonderful! Great Selfie, Pat!
April 13th, 2018
These look snug. I could do with something like this myself. My fingers go white with the cold, even when other people swear its not that cold!
April 13th, 2018
@hamble If you become a friend you get 10% off & some colours are cheaper or if you take pot luck even cheaper!
April 13th, 2018
@louannwarren thanks Lou Ann.

Boo
YEAH! I knew you would get them, I had a feeling about it. They looks rather lovely!
April 13th, 2018
I think that must be the curse of those of us that love cameras. I have the same problem.
April 13th, 2018
@huvesaker I have been plagued with Raynaud's all my life Boo, they even go dead when I have a shower, the change of temperature, so any help is greatfully received!
April 13th, 2018
@gijsje @cdonohoue Yes great for photographers!
April 13th, 2018
A lovely selfie, Pat. Bet they're lovely and soft, too
April 13th, 2018
Boo
@happypat sounds very painful, I really hope they help keep you warm
April 13th, 2018
Oh I so know the pain of Raynauds! Had it since I was a teen!
This time of year is so difficult too.
Wish I could wear things like those gloves. I have some Jack Wills fingerless gloves and they definitely make a difference.

April 13th, 2018
These are so lovely Pat - I do love the pale grey, But best of all is that you haven't had any white fingers today!!
I am enjoying wearing mine too though I don't suffer too badly but much nicer to have cosy fingers......now do you think we need cashmere socks too??? hee hee!!!
April 13th, 2018
@pamknowler ooh Pam.....Now you're giving me ideas!!
April 13th, 2018
Such a gorgeous selfie Pat , and so glad you find the benefit of your new buy !! They do look cosy !
April 13th, 2018
Lovely
April 13th, 2018

I think my fingers would really feel the cold with these, not being encased in such soft warmth! One can see your lovely engagement ring in this shot!
April 13th, 2018
I have Raynauds too so am looking forward to the warmer weather taking photos.
April 13th, 2018
@stevepo They have men's versions too!
April 13th, 2018
@maggiemae I don't think you would wear them when it's really winter cold in the place of proper gloves but it's surprising if your wrists are warm how it travels to the ends! I have worn mine most of the day sometimes with them only round my wrists. It's been quite damp & cold today just numb making finger weather!
April 13th, 2018
They do look as though they are snuggly
April 13th, 2018
@sarah19 my feet don't suffer much funnily enough Sallie but I might have to buy another pair this year!
April 13th, 2018
@beryl the cashmere is so soft Beryl
& all recycled wool.
April 13th, 2018
@julzmaioro that was the reason I bought them just now Julz, just the time to wear them I thought! I think you need to buy anther pair!
April 13th, 2018
@willowdragon I have found them quite an eye opener today Al, I'm sure they did help as only one finger even thought about going numb today then changed its mind!
April 13th, 2018
They look so cosy and warm. Hope they do the trick.
April 13th, 2018

April 14th, 2018
@casablanca yes I did it & my hands are very warm! Going to nz in May when it's cold so should come in handy!
April 14th, 2018
Such a lovely colour and it’s so nice if you can get relief from numb fingers.
April 14th, 2018
I got some too and they are heavenly
April 15th, 2018
I did hear from my paramedic daughter in law and partner that if you are anxious and perhaps breathe a lot as so, this can happen - cold fingers etc. They did say that breathing into a paper bag can help! Don't think this is you though!
April 15th, 2018
They look gorgeous, soft and cosy and very pretty! Nice selfie too :)

She is bringing the little one fir lunch this week one day so I can catch up properly. ❤️😘
