Lancaster

Market Street living up to its name last Saturday.
I've never been at the weekend before so I hadn't seen the market.
The town was very busy & market stalls doing a good trade.

No need to comment on this photo today as I am out tonight so won't be able to comment myself.

Just a diary shot to keep up to date.

Off to a Lady Farmers 'do' tonight. Stalls, supper & a talk by someone in aid of charity. I haven't heard what the charity is yet.
So lovely!! I have just remembered that I have a lovely necklace and earrings that Allan bought me one wedding anniversary when we were there......must look them out!

Street scenes are always interesting with people milling around and especially on a market day

Now of course I love this, because my little girl walks up and down that road and once or twice I've walked there with her! Great street scene :)

@huvesaker Ha ha! I think the charity is "Save the photographers in NZ fund"! They are going into winter!
Most people here are going one way so you didn't have to worry about getting someone face to face!

@huvesaker Oh goodness that is the best charity yet! Are they taking over your life? @maggiemae I think the NZ photographers are blessed enough with all that scenery! The charity was actually CRY which is involved with sudden deaths in young people up to the age of 35. Up to 12 young people die suddenly in the UK often just playing football or similar. We raised £1500 for the charity.
