This photo was taken a good week ago & the Christmas display is nearly full on!
Far too early in my opinion & I must say the garden centre we went to last Saturday only had a very tiny area devoted to the festive season thank goodness!
I'm sure there is a limit to how many Christmas tree baubles one can buy....a lot of work for not too many sales I guess!
Three good things:
1. I've had my hair cut today & decided I would try a grey shampoo! Big mistake thank goodness I washed it all out as soon as I got home....Harry said it put ten years on me!
2. The Ryder cup starts today...I do love watching a bit of golf!
3. Two farming families from Northern Ireland coming for B&B they have been before many years ago so we are looking forward to seeing them again!
I do love Christmas but I just can't get excited about it in September!!! It's the same in all the garden centres around here. Enjoy your guests, you'll have lots in common.
I hate it when Christmas comes to the shops too early. I love the build up, but only from 1 December onwards! I'll be doing a bit of tv viewing during the Ryder cup too ... especially as I know the course (and have played it, albeit badly, a couple of times). The course alongside (l'Aigle) was our 'local' when we lived in Paris.
Oooh NO !! we haven't seen the colours of Autumn and grudgingly Halloween and Bonfire night yet . Way too early in the year to start reaping in on the benefits of the commercial Christmas ! I just do not want to know or see the glittery Christmas until the end of November and then get excited at the thought of Christmas !
Something to look at all over the place! I suppose you don't have any say in when people start to decorate their houses. It probably happens everywhere. A grey shampoo -!! Next time try a purple one - it tones down any brassiness - orangey bits! Doesn't go purple at all.
@maggiemae That was the worse thing about the grey shampoo maggie, the top was purple! I won't be using that type again! That was the whole idea because I wasn't having a colour this time I thought it might be a sort of low light effect...too much low light!!
Oh I agree with you Pat, definitely too early for Christmas displays. When shops start selling Christmas things in September it smacks of desperation to me.
@onewing They do it every year Babs but a very thriving business, they have just put up a massive new complex called The Flower Bowl....I have shown pictures on here but I just wish they would lay off the early Christmas!
Shudder too early for me. I love Christmas in the winter...!

I tried one of those 'trendy' lavender shampoos... first time I could see a little extra shine.. second time ugh too dull wash it off!!
