Last mow of the year....I doubt it somehow!

The grass is really green & growing still so I think Harry will still be mowing next week.

This is the wood we planted around nine years ago & all the trees have grown really well.

Three good things:
1. Newly creosoted gates...love the smell!
2. Soft towels.
3. Our own mushrooms picked fresh for breakfasts this morning.

I was hoping that G had mowed ours for the last time- BUT I think I may be wrong as they are growing like anything at the moment !Nice to see your woodland growing , giving a home for all sort of wildlife !

@julzmaioro Harry has a ride on but much prefers walking round behind a mower, very strange....he likes to be in charge! He has three mowers, this small one , one that goes by itself with him steering & the ride on which he rarely uses....Oh & the tractor & grass topper for the field! It's his summer job & he loves it!

Harry must be still so strong to push this mower! You really have to be in charge mowing around trees otherwise you get smashed! We have contractors in now and appreciate that so much!

It's still very warm, isn't it? Cold mornings and nights but daytime temperatures high enough for growth. Maybe it will sort out the bits of our lawns that didn't survive that heat of Summer so well, eh?
