Morning fog

I got up early this morning to do a full breakfast & they always say the early bird catches the worm!

Frosty car windscreens & fog along the River Wyre.

Three good things:
1. Harry's cabbages doing well.
2. I had done more steps before 8.30am today than I had done all yesterday & eaten much less!
3. I bought a tin of Quality Street chocolates...my first venture into Christmas stuff!

Wonderful - "morning mist and mellow fruitfulness " always comes to mind when I see a misty Autumn morning ! Harry's cabbage are doing well - till I read your comment I wondered if they were sprouts !!

Cabbages all seem to come at once - I saw someones posting recently of a place where they put spare fruit or veggies out in a bag along the fence line! This mist must be just above the river - a river mist, of course!

@beryl He sowed them but it took ages for hime to thin them out so they got a bitty leggy, heartening up nicely now, will be good in the cold weather!
