Half term time & the fairground rides are up next to the canal.
Some schools seem to be off for two weeks now at this time of the year & all the families of the seven children adjacent to us have been away to foreign parts. A bit different to my day!
I will be a bit absent over the next few days as we have friends staying & so might not get time to comment or post!
Three good things :
1. Our youngest grandson in NZ spent two hours at big school in preparation for starting after Christmas. He liked it!
2. I was able to buy all I needed in the village this morning! It has every shop you would require & for a small place is so well supported, I had trouble parking!
3. Roast beef in the oven....full Sunday dinner on a Thursday tonight!
@maggiemae yes a bit busy at the moment maggie, out tomorrow night & Saturday too, it's hard work when you get older! I do find having visitors quite tiring especially with a noisy dog in tow! Lovely to see them though & if we had no friends life would be much poorer!
