Flowers coming up in one of our old cow feeding troughs.
A glorious day today!
Three good things:
1. We have unearthed an old clock our youngest son Anthony made in woodwork class at school. It must be almost thirty years old.
Amazingly it worked straight away as soon as I put a new battery in. It’s proudly hanging in Harry’s big shed.
2. Took my daughter in law’s father to the nurse to get his leg dressed, it’s thankfully improving! Back again Friday. Lesley’s birthday today....Happy Birthday!
3. More throwing out.....the bins were full, hope they empty them in the morning as the lids wouldn’t sit down. If they were the grey ones they would be too full & get left behind!
@julzmaioro Yes tricky but luckily Lydia is shortly looking for her own place in a few months time....she can have whatever she wants but old darker furniture will go....going modern & minimalistic! Country minimalistic! Pine stuff going with us & we will pick the best chairs. Too many nick nacks....going to the charity shop!
@beryl I’ve got the bit between my teeth now Beryl....can’t think why I have all that stuff out...after a while you don’t see it & it’s only when you shift stuff you think wow that looks better!
The patio is going to look good with these flowers blooming! We downsized 10 years ago and it took a whole year before we shifted, to get rid of things!
