Many different artists selling paintings of Rome.
Some of them were really lovely but some had a similar look which made you wonder if the same person had painted them.
We each bought one & the woman I bought mine off said some of them were from the same school so perhaps it’s a city of budding artists!
Three good things:
1. So glad to sit down & put my feet up tonight after painting woodwork all day!
2. Water based paint that we can clean off so much better than oil based.
3. Mint sauce.
@josiegilbert Yes that’s all I bought Josie but it’s akway nice to buy something like a painting or picture as a reminder! Have to have mine framed yet. Thank you for your comment.
Oh, I have a painting I bought in Rome about a million years ago! I still have it. It's a nice reminder of that trip, and not too touristy either. Lovely image of this street art.
We bought a painting in Singapore years ago and have since seen similar everywhere. Certainly not original as we had thought! I like this cobbled courtyard - so Italian!
These Art display/sales are always interesting to see ! ,usually aimed at the torists and a lovely reminder of a holiday Late commenting tonight - fell asleep for hours , now its past midnight and I am fully awake !!
Lovely photo and such a sense of warmth in the colours.
I like your three good things!
I would love to paint our kitchen units as the dark wood colour doesn't fill me with joy....
@sarah19 Do it Sallie, the difference is amazing.... I’m not doing kitchen units but you can make so much difference with a tin of paint. Prepare well & use good paint & be brave! There will be a tutorial on you tube I expect!
Have to have mint sauce and mint jelly with lamb..
