We climbed up to the parish church in the village of Hawkshead & this is the view from the churchyard, one of them anyway, they seem to have multiplayers of burial ground climbing up different steps to reach higher levels.
Harry’s birthday so we all had a special day together.
It was lovely being able to celebrate with our visitors too, Alex & Simon....his first visit to the Lakes.
Three good things:
1. The weather was the best, warm & the sun came out for us too.
2. A ride across Lake Windermere on the ferry. Something about a ferry!
3. Our very obliging b&bers let themselves in while we were out!
That was quite the climb - looks very steep!
