Loved that these disabled people were able to have a good curling game.....they used long poles to push the stones along the ice.
I just read that wheelchair curling was added to the Paralympic Games in 2006.
They were having a good chat while playing!
Three good things:
1. Talked to Brian in NZ for a good time this morning! Good to get all the news. Only 40 more cows to calve!
2. I defrosted the deep freeze.
3. After our mince & chips tonight I emptied & washed the deep fat fryer...not a pleasant job but better with our new washable one than the old type chip pan! We only use it at the most once a month but sweet potato chips tonight ...yummy!
It doesn't look like ice here so not cold. The surface must be the same as ice for the stones to glide across. Life now includes just about everyone including vegans, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free!
Fantastic! I have a couple of married blind friends and when I asked them how they met, they told me it was playing volleyball! Love it when people don't let a disability stop them from trying something, huge respect. This looks like a lot of fun and I love the fake ice.
I like the sound of sweet potato chips!!
