Getting in the feed

My view as I sat in the sun reading my kindle while on holiday in NZ.
If I remember rightly there were about 52 big bales on these fields.
My eldest son stacking them up beside the barn.
Mount Te Aroha in the distance!

Sad for our daughter in law tonight as her dear father died this morning in hospital in the UK.
She must feel so far away.
Luckily she had been over to visit in November.

Three good things:
1. We are very happy with the result of the general election.
2. I stayed up until 4.10am watching the results .....the TV switched itself off on its own so I took the hint & went to bed!
3. I saw a lovely Christmas sweater in Next...only one left my size but I resisted! I tried it on too.
Always good to see the hay cut and baled in the sunshine.. oh please pass on my sympathies to Lesley and family.. they will all be feeling very far away.. but at least she did have that recent time with her family..
Hope all settles down in the UK with that clear result..
I bought a christmas tee shirt this year.. watch this space you may see it.. and what FGs christmas attire is this year..

A nicely captured rural scene. Sorry about your daughter-in-law's loss. Rosie lost her father-in-law yesterday.

I like that you have included that comfy chair in the scene! Reading your kindle while watching the working going on and in the sun! 128 gb?? Wow! You will make John jealous!

Lovely sunny scene. Sad about Lesley's Dad but good she had been over recently. That's when the world seems so big 😥

I’m glad I read the comments. Now I understand why you passed on the sweater. I would too, under those circumstances. So sorry for your daughter in law’s loss. So hard to lose a loved one during the holidays.

I did buy a Christmas jumper this year - it's black with two very sparkly reindeers on the front. Half price in Debenhams, so not too bad. I've worn it quite a bit already.
