A cinema day today.
Dot & I had a rare afternoon watching Little Women.
I had already seen it but didn’t tell Dot that, I was very happy to see it again as some of it’s quite hard to catch every word. I really wished I had put new batteries in my hearing aides as they weren’t working properly.
Lunch first them armed with a G&T each we sat through 2 & a quarter hours of it.....
A great catch up of news too. Poor Charlie is having another operation on Thursday to remove his shunt. He has fluid on the front part of his brain now so they are trying to eliminate every cause of this new setback.
Three good things:
1. Brian & Lesley are nearly home, just leaving the coast of Australia now so another three hours.
2. Two more viewers to come this week!
3. Fresh eyes show us areas where we can improve the outside of our house.....removing all plant pots with last years dead flowers in on the patio area .....you don’t notice these things until someone points them out!
That's rather neat having floor to ceiling mirrors! Fun faces. Dead flowers and plants is not a good look - Ive got some of those but we aren't trying to sell our house.
A good day for the cinema I'd say. I wonder if you had storm battering the coast?
I haven't seen Little Women yet....
feels like a long time since last at the cinema!
Tough times for Charlie and family.
But good to have more viewers!
What a fun image - you two look as if you are not up to no good !! ha ! Love the décor . The best place to be on a day like today ! Good news re more viewers ! Keeping my fingers crossed for you !
This does look so much fun! Sympathies on the hearing aids - I invariably find that my battery runs out at the very moment I don't have any spares with me!
Poor Charlie is still going through the mill, so sorry.
@dide and I went and saw LW last week throughly enjoyed it .. even though neither of us had seen the book .. Poor Charlie Think about him often .. What a great looking theatre .. And good to have fresh eyes finding ways to improve for viewings ..
@julzmaioro You did I well to keep up...... outdoor you tell what they were saying half the time...that was my biggest bugbear! It must be an age thing! 😳
