Still foggy again today although not foggy in Blackpool strangely.
We went to the optician this afternoon...me for a routine check up & Harry for his glaucoma check up.
As soon as we got inland again dawn came the fog.
Three good things:
1. All well with both our eye tests. I only started going to this optician because Harry has to go there fir his check for the hospital but my word they are so thorough! I can’t recommend them highly enough.
2. Left overs for tea...a bit of this & a bit of that!
3. Speedo Mick, a chap who is walking 1000 miles in his underpants for charity.
All he has on is his Everton scarf & underpants....he has become quite a celebrity in these parts. Just over half way now & someone gave him a £50,000 cheque today! Some generous people about!
The driveway has a beautiful curve to it - mysterious in the mist! These glaucoma check-ups (I have just had one) - they make sure you are getting your money's worth!
Nice capture Pat - I love the fog! Speedo Mick was shown on the BBC news the other day dancing in the anchor pub at the end of the road - wish I'd known, I'd have joined him. A truly inspirational man!
@lyndamcg He’s quite a character isn’t he....can’t just make out where he’s walking from & to as he seems to be sticking around the North West...our postman met him early last week.
The curve is so lovely in this gorgeous scene. Speedo Mick could have made the walk fully dressed I guess without losing any of the money pocketed for charity. Charitable persons would still donate whether he is fully dressed or nude.
